What to Expect With the Upgrade
The Business Banking upgrade will bring a more intuitive, user-friendly experience along with new and enhanced tools for managing your business finances. How much changes for you will depend on the Digital Banking services your business uses today.
For many users, the transition will be fairly simple—you’ll continue to have access to the tools you use today, presented in a refreshed, easier-to-navigate format. Businesses that use services such as Bill Pay, ACH or Wires will see more significant changes and new capabilities. We’re offering training and resources to help you become familiar with these tools and prepare for the transition.
6 Things to Know Before the Digital Banking Upgrade
Complete before October 16 to avoid any disruptions!
1. Know both your username and password
Your existing username and password will remain the same after the upgrade. You’ll need both the first time you log in to the upgraded Business Digital Banking system.
If you currently use a token and do not enter a password when you log in, you’ll need a password before October 16. Some token users may not currently have one. To avoid interruptions on October 19, make sure you know both your username and password before the upgrade.
If you don’t know your username or password—or aren’t sure whether you have a password—stop in or call (920) 623-4000 for assistance.
2. Current contact info required for each user’s first-time login
The first time you log in to the upgraded Business Digital Banking system, you’ll be asked to verify your identity. A one-time passcode will be sent by text message, phone call, or email using the contact information we have on file for you. You’ll enter this passcode to complete the secure login process.
Each Business Digital Banking user needs at least one contact method that reaches them directly. This can be a mobile number where they can receive a text message, a direct phone line where they can receive a phone call, or an individual email address. A general business phone number or shared email address should not be used because, as a security measure, the one-time passcode needs to reach the individual who is logging in—and only that individual.
Make sure each user’s contact information is current before October 16. Without an appropriate contact method on file, they will not be able to complete the first-time login process. You can view the email address we have on file for each user in Business Online Banking. To update an email address, verify a phone number, or make sure each of your Business Digital Banking users has the appropriate contact information on file, stop in or call (920) 623-4000.
3. Online Banking alerts will need to be reestablished
Your existing Business Online Banking alerts will not carry over to the upgraded system. Before October 16, review your current alerts and make note of the ones you want to continue using.
Beginning October 19, you can reestablish those alerts in the upgraded Business Online Banking system.
4. Plan ahead for weekend downtime
Business Digital Banking will be unavailable beginning Friday, October 16, at 5 pm CT.
Business Online Banking will be available at 8 am CT on Monday, October 19, followed by Business Mobile Banking at 9 am CT when the updated FMUB app becomes available.
If you have payments, transfers, or other time-sensitive banking tasks to complete, plan accordingly and take care of them before Business Digital Banking becomes unavailable.
5. Business Mobile Banking is moving to the FMUB app
Beginning at 9 am CT on October 19, Business Mobile Banking will be available through the FMUB app. The existing FMUB Mobile Business Banking app will no longer be used.
To get started, search for FMUB in your device’s app store and download the app. Then log in using your Business Digital Banking username and password and your token, if you use one.
Already use the FMUB app for Personal Banking? You won’t need to download another app. After the upgrade, the FMUB app will be used for both Personal and Business Mobile Banking. Make sure you have the updated version of the FMUB app, then enter your Business Digital Banking credentials to access your business accounts.
Once you’ve successfully logged in to Business Mobile Banking through the FMUB app, you can delete the old FMUB Mobile Business Banking app.
6. Training and resources are available
The amount of change you’ll experience with the Business Digital Banking upgrade will depend on the services you use. If you primarily use Digital Banking to view accounts, transfer funds between your FMUB accounts, or complete other everyday banking tasks, you’ll find many of the tools you already use in a refreshed, more intuitive format.
If you use services such as Bill Pay and ACH Origination, you’ll see more significant changes to how some banking tasks are completed. We strongly encourage employees responsible for these services to take advantage of the training and resources available before the upgrade.
Live and pre-recorded training options are available to help you prepare for October 19 and become familiar with the upgraded system.
