FMUB Welcomes New Board Member!

Farmers & Merchants Union Bank and Jewel Box Financial Services, Inc. are pleased to welcome Dr. Adam Forster to their Board of Directors. Dr. Forster fills the vacancy left following the passing of longtime board member Douglas A. Caldwell.

Dr. Forster has served the Columbus community through Columbus Family Dental since 2004. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and is known for his commitment to patient care and continuing education in advanced dental technology and procedures.

Dr. Forster understands the importance of local relationships and personalized service-- principals that align closely with FMUB's longstanding commitment to community banking.

FMUB appreciates Dr. Forster's willingness to serve and looks forward to his contributions in the years ahead.

Teach Children To Save Day

FMUB employees enjoyed spending time in local classrooms during the month of April, reading to students as part of the Wisconsin Bankers Association’s Reading Raises Interest Program. This program is held in conjunction with National Teach Children to Save Day. The book read to each class was Berenstain Bears' Trouble with Money.

Students were challenged to think about how they save and spend their own money. It is one of the many ways we stay connected while helping build strong financial futures!

FMUB Participates in Reality Day at Beaver Dam High School

Farmers & Merchants Union Bank (FMUB) recently took part in Reality Day with the junior class at Beaver Dam High School. During this interactive event, students were placed in real-life budgeting scenarios, each assigned a unique life situation that included details such as annual income, family size, and housing arrangements.

Students then rotated through various booths, where they made financial decisions and learned how to allocate their money toward essential expenses like bills and childcare, as well as discretionary spending such as entertainment. The experience provided valuable insight into managing personal finances and making informed budgeting choices.

FMUB Expands into Beaver Dam!

Farmers & Merchants Union Bank (FMUB) recently had a ribbon cutting ceremony to welcome FMUB to the Beaver Dam community! Chamber Ambassadors gathered at 115 Front Street in Beaver Dam to learn more about FMUB and to provide a warm welcome into the community.
