Important Updates

Monday, August 18, 2025

As of 8 am, all former Wisconsin River Bank (WRB) customers should have full access to Farmers & Merchants Union Bank (FMUB) systems.

Online Banking -

  • WRB personal and business online users will want to visit fmub.bank and log-in using the personal banking log-in link on the homepage, along with the same username and password as you did previously.
  • WRB eCorp users will utilize the business online log-in link on the homepage, using the the same log-in credentials as you had for WRB's eCorp log-in. You can no longer access WRB online banking.

Mobile Banking - WRB personal and business online users can visit the Apple App or Google Play stores and search for 'FMUB Mobile' to download your new banking app. You will log-in using the same username and password as before. You can no longer access the WRB mobile app.

New for eCorp users, you can also visit the appropriate app store for your device and search 'FMUB Mobile Business Banking.' This is an app designed just for business users to conduct your banking on your mobile device. You will use the same log-in credentials as you do for business online banking. Be sure to contact us with any questions.

Debit Cards - If you have not done so already, please activate your FMUB Visa debit card that was sent to you in August and start using that card today. Your WRB debit card no longer works.

If you have any questions on these, or any services, you can call our dedicated call center at 920.623.4000 and speak to a Farmers & Merchants Union Bank team member, we're here to assist you.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Conversion

Your account numbers will remain the same. In the unlikely event a change is needed, you will be notified well in advance, and we will handle the details.

What will happen to the current Wisconsin River Bank branches?

You will be able to continue to visit and call the same people you already work with and trust to get assistance with your banking needs. The phone numbers for offices in Janesville, Lodi and Sauk City will remain the same, so feel free to contact your existing Relationship Banker; they will be available to answer any additional questions you have.

Will location hours change?

No, there are no changes in hours at any of our locations. For up-to-date hours and locations listing, visit our locations and hours page.

When will I be able to use all Farmers & Merchants Union Bank locations?

Currently, in addition to the offices in Janesville, Lodi and Sauk City, you can visit the main office in Downtown Columbus or the office in Rio for all your banking needs.

Following the conversion on August 16, 2025, you will be able to visit any of our nine convenient locations.

What is Farmers & Merchants Union Bank's routing number?

Farmers & Merchants Union Bank's routing number is 075902670.

BUT you should not start updating any of your payments or deposits until after the August 16 conversion date to avoid any delays.

Will I be able to continue using my Wisconsin River Bank checks?

Your current checks will continue to be valid until you need to reorder. When you are out of your current supply, you can order new checks as you normally would. Any check orders placed on or after August 18, 2025 will be updated to include Farmers & Merchants Union Bank's routing number if order at one of the bank's locations. If you order on your own from another vendor, please make sure you update the routing number following the conversion.

I have direct deposits into my Wisconsin River Bank account. Do I need to inform my employer or Social Security of a change to my accounts?

After the conversion to Farmers & Merchants Union Bank on August 16, your direct deposits (including payroll, Social Security and/or other ACH deposits) will be credited to your new Farmers & Merchants Union Bank account automatically - you do not need to do anything for existing direct deposits set up.

You will only need to change the routing number for direct deposits when setting up new electronic transfers AFTER August 16, 2025.

What about my automatic payments, do I need to do anything different for those?

Your automatic payments set up via ACH will work the same as direct deposits; any ones that you currently have set up to pay from your current Wisconsin River Bank account will debited from your new Farmers & Merchants Union Bank account following the conversion on August 16, 2025 - there is nothing that you need to do for existing payments that are set up.

Will my debit card PIN change?

It can but it doesn't have to. When you receive your new Farmers & Merchants Union Bank debit cards, there will be instructions attached to the card on how to activate it. During this activation process, you will be able to choose a PIN - it can be the same as your Wisconsin River Bank card if you wish. Just remember, your PIN should be something easily remembered by you, but not easily guessed by someone else.

Your rates and terms will remain the same for IRAs and CDs through maturity. At maturity, you will have the option of renewing at the rates and terms being offered at that time.
