Electronic Banking Specialist

Farmers & Merchants Union Bank is seeking an Electronic Banking Specialist in their IT Processing department. Full-time schedule is Monday-Friday, including Saturday morning rotations. Banking experience is not necessary and training will be provided.

The Electronic Banking Specialist supports the day-to-day operations of behind-the-scenes bank functions, as well as supports customers and staff. This position includes duties such as processing of deposit and loan file maintenance, supporting Consumer and Business Banking (including online banking and bill payment functions), processing electronic and wire transfers, and running data processing programs. The Electronic Banking Specialist assists with all aspects of online banking, providing support to customers through the bank’s Call Center and to bank staff through the Help Desk.

The ideal candidate is computer literate in a windows environment. Confidentiality, excellent organization skills and accuracy are important qualifications for this position, as well as good customer relations and the ability to communicate clearly.


  • Handle incoming customer and staff calls; respond to inquiries in a timely and patient manner
  • Support all phases of consumer and business online banking
  • Assist with the online banking work flow, which includes, but is not limited to: application processing, user onboarding, managing user limits, wire transfer processing, maintaining user profiles to enable additional services and tracking applications
  • Provide backup for all areas of Operations, ensuring coverage as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service and assists in resolving problems within given authority
  • Provide debit card support to bank staff
  • Draft new procedures and provide updates to existing procedures as needed for the purpose of streamlining operational functions
  • Develop a strong knowledge of bank products and services
  • Provide debit card support to customers and staff

Relationship Banker/Teller

Farmers & Merchants Union Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker. Full-time schedule is Monday-Friday, including Saturday morning rotations. Training will be provided.

The Relationship Banker is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and building relationships with current and prospective customers, promoting all bank products and services, and responding to simple and complex customer inquiries or service requests.

Minimum requirements include:

  • Knowledge of bank products and services not necessary, but helpful.
  • Strong background in customer service desired.


Farmers & Merchants Union Bank is seeking a self-motivated Custodian for its six bank locations. Full-time schedule is Monday-Friday, preferably 4 a.m. to noon, with scheduling flexibility.


  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance work such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting
  • Respond to building maintenance requests, prioritizing work load and completing repairs internally when possible
  • Assists with outdoor maintenance of buildings, including sidewalk, parking area, building exterior, lighting and flag maintenance
  • Drives to various suppliers to purchase or pick up needed materials and supplies
  • Move, inventory and organize supplies
  • Have basic knowledge of technology use, electricity, plumbing, HVAC, industrial cleaning equipment and general maintenance
  • Have driver’s license with clean driving record
